What we are looking for:

Individuals that would like to join a dynamic team that possess some Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience. This position will be working from our office located in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

To be successful in this role you should possess the following characteristics:
  • Detail-oriented to produce accurate/clear designs, identify discrepancies in vendor drawings and mitigate potential conflicts between designs
  • Self-solver for problems encountered with design software or layout design considerations
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines and draft in a proficient manner
  • Sense of ownership when tasked with project or design
  • Excellent communication skills to present designs within internal/external teams and coordinate with vendors
  • Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Proficient skills drafting with AutoCAD 2D
  • Extensive AutoCAD 2D design work
  • Ongoing management of related drawings/designs
  • Designing and detailing operational layouts and related component drawings
  • Enhancing layouts through understanding of building constraints and engineering goals
  • Analyzing and checking takeoffs and calculations
  • Reviewing vendor/business partner drawings/quotes for clarity/comprehensiveness; resolving related discrepancies/issues
  • Working w/ project management personnel to coordinate requested assignments
  • Participate in various design review meetings and present/speak to updates, concerns and identifying potential conflicts
  • Potential: Coordination of material/equipment order, related installation scheduling and executive of site work associated operational design elements
